Spring is sprung!
I put my washing outside on the line for the first time this year and it's dry! The only problem with that is that I now have an ironing pile...

Hellebores! For the first time since I planted them there, they're flowering. Up to last summer, there were some big bushes in that border. The hellebores had leaves and just a few half-hearted buds that did nothing. We dug the bushes out to make a perennials border, and now the hellebores have room to breathe, so they are doing their thing!

Our new border with daffodils...

snowdrops (that's where we scattered Harry's ashes - Herbie's brother)...

and primroses in the middle border that have been flowering non-stop since November!

We also seem to be getting a fine crop of cats this year...

Honestly, Herbie's got so many lovely places to sleep in the house, including - get this - his own electric blanket! Where does he sleep? Last year's tomato pot. *rolls eyes*

Not to be left out, here's Hattie.

There are birds in those trees! It's not fair that they have wings - Hattie goes in the bottom of the trees, the birds all fly out of the top.

Here's to Spring!

It's a little bit cooler today, and Herbie is making full use of his electric blanket. Hattie is in my wardrobe. *sighs*

Your neighbour's cat is bringing you gifts! You're honoured! To be honest, you get to a point with cats where you're just glad the gifts are dead. Much easier to catch. We came home to a very live, very cross starling sitting on the curtain rail in the living room once. And two guilty cats sitting beneath...

Here's hoping Spring gets to you soon. And that it takes a firmer hold here. We get the odd lovely day, then a few grey ones.

These look amazing. It looks very much like a place you can just relax in.

It is. We relax far too much. The garden as a whole is really quite scruffy. That's why the pics are close-ups. *lol* I'm glad you like it!

Aww, lovely! We also have snowdrops and crocuses in our garden... but the daffodils aren't quite ready yet. I can't wait for spring to arrive properly!

And lol! Cats will always find the strangest sleeping places!

It's lovely when they start coming through. I tend to stamp round the garden growling at them to get a move on. The neighbours must think I'm insane!

Herbie's back on his electric blanket today, but Hattie's in my wardrobe. I'm going to have to hoover those clothes. Again.
