A wedding to which I wasn't invited...
I'm sure it was an oversight.

I really wouldn't call myself a monarchist, and all I really cared about today's royal wedding was that there was an extra day off work. Good old William!

But I found myself glued to it on TV. How weird! And I even shed a sneaky tear. Softy!

It was absolutely lovely. Everything was perfect - the weather, the frock, the service, the parades. Perfect. I'm so pleased for them.

The thing is, I remember his mother and father's wedding, and William being born and being a toddler and growing up and following his mother's coffin down the road. It's really moving. Maybe I can be excused a few tears.

And what I really like is that they met as proper people, liked each other and got together. Much better than what his parents did - presented to each other - she'll produce an heir to the throne - she'll do. That's how it seems to me. Bound to fail.

I wish William and Catherine all the best.

And I don't hold the lack of an invitation against them at all. I'm sure it's just delayed in the post.

BTW, I looooove this! -

Lol, I wouldn't have minded a day off! But at least I got to watch the "best of" on telly in the evening XD

Also LOL @ that dancing video. But their hats weren't quite tall enough ;)
