I'm still alive, despite having been suspiciously quiet for some time. Well, ok, years. I have been struggling on the depression front, but after a change of meds, I feel a little communicative again, so here goes!

I'd like to start writing again - I enjoyed that so much - but I don't really know what about, because I've gone right off CSI. So I'll just ramble for a bit.

My aim for this summer holiday is to be a little bit productive every day. It helps in climbing out of the depression pit. So far today, I have painted the shed. It's now Ginger Cat colour, and so am I.

I know it's been done properly, because we were supervised.

That's Penny. Nosy cat in chief.

Also today, our new sofa arrived! And it's just as lovely as I remember it being when we chose it. Thank goodness for that! Really comfy too, which is an improvement on the old one.

Now, I'm off out for lunch and I think I deserve it! (I got the laundry done and hung out too. Yay, me!)

This is the first time I've used my iPhone app to post here, I think. Convenient. Must do it again.

Today's my wedding anniversary. Sixteen years. Yay me and yay Himself! I truly don't know where the time's gone to.

We lost Herbert a few weeks ago. We'd had him virtually since we got married, so it was a huge bereavement, but we're going to meet a kitten tomorrow who might be a suitable little friend for Hattie. If it works out, then she'll come home with us mid-April, after we've been on holiday. (Our usual week in the Lake District). Pictures will follow!

I love Ebay. However obscure is the thing I'm looking for - textbooks on early music, original Giles annuals, super-sparkly yarn - someone out there has it and is looking to sell it!

I'm having a little sale on Ebay at the moment. A few lovely hats and a bunny. I may direct a fair bit of my crochet through Ebay in the end - I just don't have time for the upkeep of even an internet shop right now. (The first assignment of my new OU course is due on March 7th and I'm panicking already...) Ebay may be the best informal way to sell products. Worth a try, anyway!

Here are my items, then!

I'm trying to post my fic, really I am, but I can't get lj on my laptop. I'm not even sure this note will post from my iphone. *tears hair out*

If anyone's waiting for the first chapter of Invisible Friendships, I'll post it here as soon as lj lets me. I have managed to post it on CSI Forensics: From Out of the Lab, however, so you can get it there.

...to start using my special Christmas icon.

Jingle Bells

Trouble is, the chorus uses exactly the range of notes the beginners have learned by this stage. It's perfect. Especially as the verse uses the range of notes the second year players have learned. *grits teeth*

Only three more assemblies to go. I can do it.

Went to see Skyfall today.

James Bond: "What makes you think it's my first time?"

Oh, be still my beating heart!

My husband has been playing on my little trampoline in the living room. Directly under the ceiling light. Even I'm not that daft. *rolls eyes*

Time for a trip to John Lewis! *positions trampoline beneath other horrible lampshades*
